Can some one please help me with the beacon quest

New player. my templar is using crackling lance and sigil of power as well as storm call totem. Now im in beacon quest. i cant stand still to just do damage and get DR from sigil and passives, and i cant kite or fuel goes backwards. Thank you for designing the one quest that just fucks this entire character over. You would have thought designing a part where the character has to walk slowly along a specific path a bad idea for an ARPG.

Seems like you haven't even ascended your character yet.
Also we can't help you that much bcs we can't see your characters. you can make them public by going to your profile on the forums, there edit privacy settings and removing the mark from hide characters tab.

wen through the labrynth about 15 level ago and died n3 areas in. Im assumining i should go run in and grab the hierophant(the ascenant im interested in). ive made the characters public

Few things from looking at you Templar:

- Grab the 'Elemental Overload' Keystone for a 30% DPS boost

- Switch your Lightning Mastery to 'Lightning Damage is lucky'

- Your gear is really, really sub-par. The boots just exist to carry your gems and provide nothing useful.

- The 'Add Lighning Dmg to Attacks' on your gloves does nothing (Crackling Lance is a 'Spell' gem - look at the gems tags), just in case you're wearing them for that mod

- You can switch out 'Innervate' with 'Controlled Destruction' or 'Arcane Surge' (You can buy all gems from Lily Roth after doing her quest in Act 6 - the one you're in right now)

- On that note: Try getting a four or five link armor - the DPS boost will be insane. Your body armor is ilvl (item level) 35 - so it can support 5 links. Just spam a few Jewellers Orbs until you hit at least four sockets and put Arcane Surge in (CL - Spell Echo - Controlled Destruction - Arcane Surge)

- Are three Life Flasks really necessary?

- With these tweaks the normal Lab should be easily done. I usually do it after Act 5 so I can just rush it without dying.

- Same for the beacon quest: You need more DPS. That quest can be tough if you have the wrong char for it and esp. so if you're playing for the first time.

I dont have any respect points left. i dotn have enough jewelers orbs or any of those item changing orbs to go spamming that on all my gear. Ive used of few of those to get what i want on other gear, and since this is my highest and first char, i dont have a massive stash to burn. hillariously i exchanged the arcane for the innervate, i guess im switch in back. Herald of thunder also provides lighning spell damage.

How much life do you have? You have one life roll for 9 on a ring that I can see. You probably have 700-800 life when you should have about 1200-1500 in act 6.

And orbs of regret grant you passive respec points and scours can also be exchanged at certain vendors for regret orbs to give you more passive respec points.

Also standing still in this game in general is a really bad idea. If your char continues to struggle with this quest its only gonna fail exponentially harder later.

As a side note, if this is your first character dont feel bad if it fails horribly. Everyones first char in this game was a miserable failure.

1,504 life. i made sure i could survive a few hits. i changed the lighning mastery and moved a vestigial node3 to elemental over load. also i randomly summon wands that shoot at enemies with no gear or nodes that cause this?

Its the trigger word of war on your gloves.

And does that 1500 include life and es? If it includes es its not quite accurate as you dont have an effective way to leech or regen it at low levels.
just tested your suggested build on the cloven one god. i only died once instead of like 4 times.1500 life plus 675 ES

In that case I am remembering life totals incorrectly for what you want per act. Your life pool should be higher than it is considering you have zero life rolls on gear.

Get life rolls on gear and if your elemental resists are not capped at 75% get them as close to that as possible.
