awful FPS while doing blight

i hadn't done blight for a while, so i wonder if this is a game thing, because i doubt it's on my end.

i've done blight in the past with good FPS with my old GTX 1080. After months of not doing blight, today i did quite a bit of blight in both, regular maps (scarab) and blighted maps, and it was an awful experience (FPS-wise) in both types of blight. literally dropping below the 15 fps, maybe even lower. literally unplayable.

the funny part is that now i have a RTX 3070, and i get like 30-60 more fps in every game compared to when i had the GTX 1080. In COD:Warzone i used to get like 90-100fps average with the 1080, no i'm getting 135-155fps with the 3070. same in WOW, i used to have like 80fps average on lower settings, now on way higher settings i get usually between 100-110fps.

my point is that the new GPU can't be the problem here. the rest of the componentes are the same as before, but i'm only having this problems in POE, specifically during blight.

i wonder if you have any information regarding this, if it has happened to more people, if it's caused by i recent patch, if maybe it's a DX12 problem, or whatever. this has me confused and preocupied, because it becomes literally unplayable, even though i run POE on 1080p on the lower settings.

EDIT: now i'm getting shit FPS anywhere in the game, not just in blight, but doing any random alched map, not even juiced. and this is at lowest game graphic settings.. monitoring my PC my CPU is like at 45% usage, and my GPU at like 30%, so not like they're even sweating.... definetly this performance problems are on your game. i still play any other game at 100+ fps minimum, and not even at lowest settings. this makes your game unplayable, and has been like this for days.

Literally getting 6 fps just by walking through Cemetery map WITHOUT mobs. Hilariously pathetic.

I swear in poe there are some special hardware combination that work just flawless...and others just dont.

Years ago, when I started poe with shit hardware it felt pretty fine regarding fps.
Some content like blight, deli, ritual and also expedition seem to shred my pc hardware. RTX 2070 at 100% all the time, intel 13700K 80% of the time in thermal-throttling mode...
PoE is the only game with that shit performance.

I tried so many things with close to no effect, I kinda gave up and excepted it.

Only thing that kind of helped for a while, was reinstalling poe every new league - WITHOUT re-using settings and stuff, stored in folders like "app-data" etc.

Well, we all can thank the damned PoE2 particle system patch which was added to PoE1. This is what now causes a lot of issues to for a lot of players.
