Atlas passive tree link

Last league I told a couple of streamers I know that they could add a link similar to this https://www.pathofexile.com/character-window/view-atlas-skill-tree?accountName=Hexting&realm=pc&league=Sentinel as a command to their channel, just changing the account name it would be a direct link to their atlas passive tree (updated in real time). Recently, not sure when but likely this week, it was changed to only show up to the account owner. Why did you do it? We can track character tree in real time if the profile is public, so why block something that useful?

Yeah. Same idea. Used search function, and found there was such topic.
But... no response, nothink ;(

gives "You don't have permission to access this area.", same for not existing accounts.
There is no privacy setting to disable or enable this option. Why? It would make so much easier for everyone.
