Hello GGG,
Today I had 1 live search running. Some pricefixer (acc name: [Removed by Support]) was unlisting and listing a like a dozen of items repeatedly after which this message popped up: Your connection has been restricted | Rate-limiting is active for your account Please remove the restrictions on my account and ban this fool. No extensions, no third-party tools and not me causing this. This was 100% generated by something on your side (trade-site). As I explained, I had one live searching running through the official website while logged in to my account. And while watching the browser window reporting countless new items (which were the same items unlisted/listed multiple times per second by the mentioned account)the restiction message appeared like 6 times.
Trade was and still is working right after I got the restriction message and ignored the specific account. Are there any temporary/permanent restrictions in place? The actions of the mentioned account lead to a live search being stopped and to restrictions being enforced. Let's say a permanent limit/restriction is enforced, the searcher is effectively being eliminated from market competition. A highly abuseable strategy for market manipulation. |
