Travel skill + Hextouch question

I am following a RF guide and its using

Frostblink (lvl 1) + Hextouch + Elemental Weakness + Lifetap

The reason they used Frostblink was it has largest AoE, and the reason it was level 1 was to avoid elemental reflect from mobs.

My question is can I simply swap out Frostblink for Shield Charge? It's my favorite travel skill but the tags are quite different.

you can, yes.

however, shield charge is an attack. it uses accuracy for hit calculations. as an RF character, your accuracy will be abysmal, and you will very rarely actually hit mobs, and often not curse them.

also, shield charge cannot jump walls like frostblink can.

and, without attack speed, shield charge is kinda slow. frost blink is instant.
