Richest player you have come across IN-GAME...? Aesthetically...?

So to this day I am still brain fcked from what I saw. This happened from 2013-2015. Anyways, I was buying a shield, and I received a message, "come to my hideout."

There she was; a scion (been a few months maybe a year since scion came out) and became popular. This girl had these magnificent wings, that stood out against the pale colors of the game like a sore thumb; in a good way. It was the most beautiful microtransaction she had on.

She had a ray of light shining down on her character, enormous huge crystal wings that would set you back $900.00. There was something about her hideout and the way everything was so organized. "Girl has style and taste..." I complimented her character and she rewarded me with a ring that's probably worth over 500 exalts. Sold it back then for 20 exalts.

People with money, not sure what it is... LOVE TO COLLECT. I'm not poor myself... comfortable, but I could never understand buying things to just collect. Even though it is not in real life, the concept and ideology were the same. You have to spend a little to make some and if you had leftover collect.

Since playing PoE I have never come across such a player at her level... Now I've seen players with expensive packs, but it's just not the same. Well, what is your experience... Have you seen these elusive, hard-spenders in-game?

Second to that, probably deoxys or reaper, since they both had a pet that absolutely no one else had (variants of Satoshi the Good Boy). Not even I could claim that.

The day I decided to abandon my main account, I went into Standard, watched local chat for a bit, picked someone I figured was a newbie and offered a few freebies. They were over the moon over paltry shit so I just emptied my stash at them. Not that I was ever rich in-game but they walked away with a decent start and I guess even my crappy little collection of stuff made someone's day.

I felt so elated after that. :)

Only assholes pretending they are.

Well, if indeed that was the case, I will never know either way, and as I've made abundantly clear, I'm a hopeless optimist so I'll choose to believe I really did improve that person's day with my paltry offering. :)

i think youre overreacting mate.

even if he replied like that, its fine.
thats what i would do, recycle items to currency for my build
without typing such offencive things to you ofc

but i am into giving them knowlege

its more profitable than couple exalts in a long run

The ruler of wraeclast supporter who had a custom pet made instead of a monster would be the most expensive mtx set up I’ve ever seen. I think he plays SSF now, I remember seeing him in the rogue harbor a league or two back.

I don't think I've ever looked at someone in-game and thought anything of it. I guess I don't care what other people look like etc, just what I look like, because I do care about my own mtx. I don't buy the mtx to look cool to others, but to myself.
