Xsolla Payment solution is poor

I have contacted support in the past over problems with Xsolla.
I have ended up having to go through Steam, which I assume takes a bigger commission and costs GGG money.

Previously I have had problems with them recognising credit cards and offering ridiculous exchange rates.

Today I tried to use them with paypal as I feel its a bit safer. First the error was I haven't signed paypal subscriber agreement, not true. Ran the purchase again and suddenly no issue, but then just getting a spinning wheel saying processing. After several minutes I give up.

GGG promised 4 or 5 years ago to look at other payment options. They making it hard for me to give them my money. I wont bother. How much more money is being lost through them stubbornly using Xsolla.

xsolla is awful,i would buy stuff more often if they had a different payment option but like you said, they said they will 5 years ago and nothing changed so clearly they dont care

did the last 2 or 3 payments with steam too .. xsolla never worked.

GOG stated they do not provide assistance on this and pointed me to xsolla.


I wanted the two new supporters packs.

As support declined to assist, I have declined to drop $180.

Yes, spat my dummy out and spending that elsewhere.
