Animate Guardian bug?

Hi, I'm experiencing a strange bug with my animate guardian. I can summon it, but it has not the visuals of it's body armour, nor gloves, nor it's 2 handed Kingmaker, only the Windshriek boots and
a rare helmet, and it does not seem to give me, and probably not the minions too, the buffs it should. They don't appear visually on top of the screen, and it doesn't show the 50% increase to crit multiplier on the default attack of my character,for example. I did some tests with a friend who also has the same build and roughly the same animate guardian(kingmaker, windshriek, doppleganger's guise...), and his AG gem didn't work as well for me, while my gem worked just fine for him(he saw the AG with all the gear visuals, and confirmed his character also had the 50% increase in critical strike multiplier.) I truly don't know if it's a bug or what it is, but I think there's nothing that should make the gem work for another character just fine, and not on my character. Unhide your character tab.
Without being able to see, I am going to say you gave it too much Chaos res and your chest, Fleshcrafter, killed him because you converted all of his health into ES = 0 health = dead AG. Chances are this isn't a bug. " It can't be that, in that case, my AG would be dead, for me and for anyone, and my AG gem worked fine for my friend who has the same build, same chest(Fleshcrafter) and generally same gear. It's not dead, and in theory, it has all it's items, because my friend can see them on the AG visuals. I don't know what it is, but the AG is not dead. |

You probably killed the AG with the gloves and kept clicking items without realizing it was gone leading to just the helm and boots showing up.

The Guardian's items are tied to the character that summoned it, rather than the gem itself.

Thank you all for the help. Didn't know about the AG being linked to the character instead of the gem. I will make a new AG and hope it works.
