Eater of Worlds Succumb Beam

I allocated the Insatiable Appetite node to juice up Eater of Worlds for a challenge. Upon doing so Eater of Worlds would only cast the beam ability when he says the word *Succumb* and it was undodgeable and cost me a 28 map long invitation/ 1ex if I had sold it.
No matter if I sat near the boss, far away, or tried to flame dash at the last possible moment around him or behind him; he would always snap to my location and blast me with the beam one shotting me without casting any other abilities the entire time. I could not avoid the beam and if I did he would snap in my direction and lock onto me hitting me with the attack. This did NOT happen when I unallocated the node and turned it back down to 84. The non juiced version did multiple abilities and the beam did not lock on to the player. The regular version was completely doable. Last bumped on Jun 13, 2022, 8:18:01 AM

Ya thats the uber difficulty one. Your reaction times to the die beam have to be impeccable or you need to be insanely tanky.
This is not a bug and will not be nerfed either. Or at least it shouldnt be nerfed. |

You could make an argument for tankiness I suppose. OP, when I did this, I got greedy and rolled the AoE mod too (was going to knock out both challenges with 1 invite). When I did it again blank, it was much easier to dodge. Did you happen to roll AoE or something else crazy?
