Beginner: How can I progress after Campaign finish (Shadow trapper)?

I just finished Act 10 after around 26 hours of playtime at level 72.

I am pretty much following the build from this video:

Now I am wondering what the best way is to keep progressing / update items.

Do you have any tips? I am playing SSF.

That video says "EVERYTHING you need to know" yet here you are. I guess Ziz is a filthy liar.

It took me a second to realize the PoB is the guide and not your character...

SSF is pretty tough for a new player and it'll greatly limit the advice you're going to get here because you'll have to source everything yourself.

I'd focus on just the absolute basics for now:

-I'd reference the "Early Game" sections of your guide for both tree and gear.
-Get your flasks sorted based on what is shown in the guide (with an extreme emphasis on bleed removal on your life flask - you will die a lot without this). I'd check the menagerie, you may have a beast craft to add "of sealing" to a flask.
-Get decent rares with life and resists (make sure your fire/cold/lightning are at least 75%)
-Get yourself a 5-link chest.
-Set your sights on completing your merciless lab.


Some ways to farm items:
-run heist contracts. These things can produce just about everything; 6 sockets items, uniques, quality enhancing currency, chromes, fuses, etc. It's a very good all-round source for items you'll need to craft with.

-Blood Aqueducts can be an option to farm humility cards and utility flasks. (you can find flasks anywhere, don't limit your efforts just to the aqueducts this is more of a two birds with one stone if you're farming the cards.)

-Look into how to best exploit Sentinel league. A lot of streamers were pumping out guides and strategies this league on what sentinels to use, how to spec their trees, which affixes they should have and map layouts which are optimal. This league is literally broken - I don't expect it to go core. The amount of loot sentinels generate is obscene.
