[Mac] [M1] Low fps on lowest settings

Hey there
I have a MacBook pro m1 16/512 I'm a PoE fun, but this is the only device I have currently I have downloaded and installed PoE with the PoE client I have tried to play a little bit, but this is an awful experience. I changed the settings to the lowest and set the resolution factor to 0, but I'm getting 25-45 fps in the first locations. It is sluggish and unplayable, unfortunately. Maybe there is a way to change the settings, configs, anything, to get primarily persistent 50+ fps? Last bumped on Jan 24, 2023, 8:50:10 AM

I have a friend I introduced the game to recently who is also playing on a M1 Mac who reports the same issues.
Low FPS on any settings Graphic glitches I hope GGG will look into this soon. |

This happens since 3.17.4. People have reported the issues on this forum multiple times already but the only answer we got so far, was that they are looking into it. Unfortunatly that was a month ago and we haven't heard from them ever since.
Beside the low fps and graphical glitches, the best part is, that the game constantly freezes for multiple seconds due to generating shaders. This makes it very hard to progress on later levels because you die more often then you can gain exp. Overall it's an absoluty horrible experience currently. |

Seeing this as well and it looks like a regression because the game was definitely very much playable on this Macbook Air M1. I'm seeing frame rates as low as 11-13 fps in busy fights, occasional graphical glitches and sometimes even straight-to-desktop crashes.

Coming back to say that upgrading to macOS Monterey (I'm on 12.3.1 right now) has made a big difference and the game is very much playable again. I feel like it still stutters a bit too much compared to previous leagues, but it is decently playable.

I've updated to 12.4 now. Unfortunatly all of the issues (low fps, graphical glitches, freezes) are still present.
Did you do a complete re-install after updating or did you clear the shader cache again? |

Same here, 30-40 fps even dynamic resolution doesn't help + also crashes

disable engine multithreading and you can run on ultra its fine on mac osx macs and windows gaming dont mix but mac and native games work fine

Game is almost unplayable for me as well on M1 macbook air. Using lowest setting as as soon as there are many monsters it basically freezes on 2-3 FPS :(
