Nullifier Mod

So, my flasks suddenly stop working, a LOT. Even on yellow maps and there are no reduced charges mods on my maps.

I assume it's this nullifier mod? Problem is, whenever it happens I go back into the map and start mousing over mobs but I don't see any nullifier mod.

Am I missing something?

It's a mod called Drought Bringer, and it has these stats:

"
Flasks gain -9* Charges every 3 seconds (Hidden)
Regenerate 1.5% of Life per second
Has a 100% Chance to remove Flask Effects on Hit (Hidden)
Always removes Charges on Hit (Hidden)

* POEWiki says -9, Patch notes (3.18.0b Hotfix 1) says -6

Okay.

So where is it seen? Is it a debuff icon on the left of the screen?

I heard the Nullifier effect was removed. Old Nullifier actually removed flask effect. I’ve been playing a Soulthirst build with 53 second flask uptime almost the entire league and I haven’t once seen my flasks be nullified from a Drought Bringer. So are you sure about this?

There is a debuff indicator for flask drain effects, including Drought Bringer, and I often mistake it for the life cap effect on Executioner. It can be easy to miss, and there is no obvious indicator of Drought Bringer on the enemy itself (aside from the text of its abilities).

Drought Bringer doesn't nullify active flasks. It just drains flask charges and removes endurance/frenzy/power charges. You can activate flasks normally near Drought Bringer enemies, and even recharge flasks if you can overcome the drain.

EDIT: Drought Bringer actually prevents flask recharge as well. Good to know.

I feel like something is up. I'm playing the same build as last league and this never happened unless it was a t16 juiced map and, this league, I'm seeing it on t10 and t14, a lot. It's happened, at least, 20 times, so far.
Ok, it just happened again on the T14 strand boss. There was definitely no debuff icon.

So I ran and let him chase me until my flask came back online and then I killed him and, immediately after he died, they turned off again. No debuff icon.

WTF?
That's definitely weird if it's the map boss. They can't have Archnemesis mods (yet). Did the map have Searing Exarch or Eater of Worlds altars in it? Some of the altars cause flask charge drain. Otherwise, I can't think of anything that causes a flask effect to just end before the duration expires.

Which flask effects were being stopped early?
I'm running Coruscanting Elixir pseudo Mageblood with Traitor Keynode.

Have not had any issues with Drought Bringers. They seem to be extremely rare and it's not too hard to kill them faster than they manage to mess up your flasks.
