Heist body armour enchant doesn't affect Synthesis implicit

Synthesis implicit modifier (25% increased energy shield) is not affected by the body armour enchant "Defence modifiers have 8% increased effect" despite the implicit having the correct "Defences" tag and being... well... an "implicit modifier". This runs contrary to the description pertaining to "modifiers" and not just "explicit modifiers".

these enchantments only affect explicit modifiers, that isn't a bug(only quality will affect base item stats).
GGG could do with updating the wording of the enchants to state explicit modifiers though. |

Well, the in-game transparency of 80% of the mechanics is just poop. Like Essences and Resonators ignoring meta crafting... because of an arbitrary decision, and without any in-game warning.
Also, the fact that the enchants are not working on implicits is a stupid inconsistency on their part. Quality on jewelry includes both implicit and explicit modifiers. So why should the enchantments be any different? Last edited by wibryz#3690 on Jun 3, 2022, 5:38:28 PM
