Mana siphoner and lightning dot vs Doryani's Prototype

Hey guys, it is my first time playing Smite Scion with Doryani's Prototype and I have several issues with the monsters and the mods.

Before I describe them, let me set the scene for you. My char has 100ex investment, 700k armor, 90% fire, cold, lightning res, chaos immunity, max spell and block rate. Literally I facetank most of the bosses without issues, however, there are several things that render the build completely unplayable.

1. Mana siphoner - due to the nature of that archnemesis lightning dot is not considered hit so it applies damage to my real lightning resistance (~ -150) which is 600% more damage to the base. Literally melts 4k energy shield in 1 sec and unless I have Vaal discipline but that is not always the case. Once I died in fortification hideout from a rare mouse with mana siphon. Due to the initial lag of the monster spawn, I died instantly.

2. The lightning dot applied from the Eater of the world monters. Once you get 10 stacks of it ... ripperoni.

3. The lightning dudes that come and explode in your face. Usually tanking 1 doesn't even move my ES, however, sometimes (especially in Cowards trial rotations) there are several that come and explode, the issue is that they are stacked and you have no idea how many minions will blow so ... rip again.

My suggestion is change the dot to zap or hit or something and make the lightning dudes unstackable.

I agree, the mechanics that armor reduces lightining damage seems to not work with lightning damage over time.

I totally totally agree that AN is badly designed, but this story... It would not exist without AN... =)
Same I have major issue with Mana Siph and Doryani's Prototype. Also noticed that beams in Vinctar 1-shot you but entering that map is predictable unlike random Archnemesis.

Any thoughts on this GGG?
Armor doesnt work with damage over time as its only for hits. Doryanis builds will get insta killed by mana siphoner 100% of the time unless you convert all lightning damage taken as something else via tempered by war and the trialmaster shield.
I used Doryani's the whole league and Mana Siphon only killed me once when I was escaping a Heist and a mob just spawned from a portal with me on the ring. Any spawn situation is just dumb.

I had pretty consistent problems with Lightning Strider though because I couldn't see or hear them. Unlike the Fire/Poison balls they're near transparent and make less sound than they used to.

Still the bigger issue with these turds is GGG's "attempt" to make them spawn a distance from the player doesn't always work. It obviously uses a FindValidPosition X from player function but if there isn't one, that sucker goes right on top of you because you're in the valid position.

I was over Phys Cap also. One would still kill me or very near.

Uhm u know that every build should be countered somehow? For example wardloop have many map mods that ruin loop. Doryani is too op anyway
I don't know why mana siphoner monsters even exits. It is an instant dead for close range builds while long range more probably don't even know they exits. Sometimes you don't even see them coming because they don't always show the blue aura for some reason.

the effect of mana siphoner is "donut" shaped
it has no effect close to the monster and no effect when you are far away

so basicly running is the worst thing you can do if you get into close range and dont have enough reach with movementskills to get out of the skill range

AN mods arent a problem,they are easy to deal with when you know what they do and you dont panic

sure some mods are anoying ebcasue they counter the dmg type of your build and die kinda slow,but they arent really dangerous
