With the new mods or other 3.18 changes, maps give signficantly less XP for characters 90+

It's frustratingly-obfuscated, how much XP one gets for doing certain things in Path of Exile. I don't know if the mods of a mob impact the amount of XP the mobs grant: but across tier 16 maps this league, it feels like I've been getting significantly less XP than I have received in prior leagues, even while running fairly mob-heavy maps.
For the grind of level 94-95, I noticed that most map clears have been barely giving 2% XP (and often 1% XP) and I distinctly remember a full or near-full map clear in prior leagues would give somewhere on the order of 3-4% XP+. I have attempted things like turning all the different systems back on without much change in the xp gained. Currently I'm running with moderately quant% maps (70-120% base) and with the atlas modifier bonuses these end up anywhere from %150-%240ish, with significant increases to pack size via atlas passives. I absolutely hate trading with people and will go out of my way to avoid it as much as I can, while still playing in the trade league. So rather than run 5-way legions and 5-way breachstones, I'll do a lot of XP grinding primarily through maps or delve. So the bug is this: I think XP gains have been nerfed this league, perhaps as a result of the new modifiers found on the mobs? Or perhaps, as some other un-documented change? I would like GGG to please research this and get back with what's up with XP.. because it seems, perceptively, worse this league. Yet another unpaid Path of Exile 2 Alpha Tester. " I dont know if its that, or they just forced us to spend so much more time to down their overly spongy and tanked out mobs. OP, are you running T16 maps and are you using eldritch influence? I was running City Squares (not a ton of mobs) with Wrath of the Cosmos and Eldritch Gaze both on. If I don't use my sentinels, I was getting ~2% per map going from 96 to 97. If I do use the sentinels, I was getting a bit more.

" Yep. I ran 20-30 maps for each location, going from Shore -> Orchard -> City Square->Terrace (adjacent connected maps, for the great sustain). I'm running only alch'd maps with all the Searing Eldrich pack atlas modifiers and using sentinels in every map. I'm also doing between a 95-100% clear of each map.. and the xp total per map has been substandard. I'm 95 now and it's just awful at 1% or less xp gain per map clear; which is why I wondered if there was a bug here or I'm missing something. Yet another unpaid Path of Exile 2 Alpha Tester.

I’m getting less XP as well at 97-98 but I think it’s entirely due to the fact that Beyond isn’t an option on every map with full Beyond mobs and increased XP per Beyond mob. So if that’s any hint, if you were tearing it up last season in juiced up Beyond maps but not this time around, your XP will definitely be noticeably less.

" I think you're right: it's the type of mobs present in the maps. I've added all the small passive beyond mob chances + beyond mob xp nodes, and it's made quite a difference in xp gains + a large chunk of map modifier buffs. The baseline XP gains just don't feel as strong by default anymore. Probably something to do with what mobs are out there and/or what sub-systems happen to pop up in maps. Only GGG knows for sure. I'd highly recommend you guys to go with a "Grand Design" atlas setup. I was getting more than 1% per in precinct from 98 to 99 without beyond.
I was also completely oversustaining with 3-5 precincts per map.
