Map Sustain With New Atlas Passive Tree
|
So I remember Chris saying during the reveal that if you're the type of player who wants to farm the same map over and over, you can. I have tested this with the new tree by doing a few things, but the maps don't seem to drop consistently. I should also note that I have only 7 favored slots.
- Took the %200 favored node on tree - Tried alternate way of taking the other node that disables favored (to disable certain maps from the pool as a way of sustain - Tried taking the Node that makes "small" nodes "wandering path" Still have not seen a consistent return. Would like to see a better method of "pick one map and farm until your hearts content". ★ Forum Threads ★ ★ Unlock Sandwraith Kill Tracker #3461595 ★ ★ Deli Music Off #3450767 ★ ★ Bestiary QOL #3380585 (HAS BEEN ADDRESSED!!!! Taking the 200% favored node on tree (singular focus)
AND favouring 2 neighbouring maps worked for me. I guess it's not really "only one map" it's more like "one map and some times the other, when I'm unlucky with map drops or didnt clear enough". |

Also importrant to juice the map enough, and kill everything.... Quantity on maps and pack size, etc does matter a lot aswell...

" So far the best method i found is to use Shadow Shaping. Choose 2 maps you like to run and are connected (like Park and Strand). Now you favorite all connected maps and they will not drop (shadow shaping) and Park maps will almost everytime drops at least 1 Strand and vice versa. Works best with arround 50% drop chance for connected maps and arround 5~10% chance to double maps droped from atlas passives. |

I do similarly as above with strand and park, but focusing on strand.
I favoured strand 11 times, and park 1 time as its connected map what I not hate. I can run about 70% strand this way, and most of the other maps 'being connected' are park. And when running park, most of the dropped maps are strand, as favoured and connected as well. This way I can mostly run strand (what I wanted), with a not that bad park session from time to time. To note, last league I oversustained strand with 12 favourites, which does not want to work now. Oh, and I tried several ways, finally dropped both shadow shaping and singular focus. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. |

^^ I run Crimson temple and shores. All but one fav node is selected for crimson temple and last is shores. The few times I have run a shores map I make all my fav maps crimson temples as then that is both my fav map and the adjacent map. This way I have been able to run 90%++ crimson temples and rest shores. Shores tab is now full though so I just fill up other maps I might run in the future like cemetery, strand and promenade.

I'm currently running a setup with "Singular Focus" & "Grand Design" with sextants and rusted scarabs on precinct and I'm getting 2-4 maps per map.
I usually prepare 48 maps (12 sextants), run the first 24 with precinct favoured and second 24 maps with the map I'm selling for 4-7c favoured. |
