recombinator is too strong

I hate that recombinator is so strong that literally forces you to use it or risk of being left behind, i mean, the variations of gear it can give.... not even harvest was able to do that?
Was this not tested before release?

I don´t recall its power so far. I´ve crafted something round 100 Weapons and haven´t hit the mod-combinations I wanted. I think there is a system in place that prevents or highly diminishes the chances of getting the same elemental damage tags on gear, for example +1 lightning gems and incr. lightning damage or flat lightning damage to spells. Very hard to hit 2 on the same item, not even talking about 3.

I´ll definately sell them in the future, cause esp. weapon recombinators are like 10c so that was a 1k chaos gamble and I am sick of it. If I want to gamble I can always go back to stacked decks...

its from essence of horror for belts :P

I think it's ok. I've bricked plenty of well-rolled individual items in hopes of combining the nice parts. Harvest chaos spam works well in tandem with recombining.
