Impossible Escape Jewel doesn't work if socketed in a cluster jewel socket?
Impossible Escape Jewel doesn't work if socketed in a cluster jewel socket. Is this an intended behavior or a bug?

I'm sure its a bug since it doesn't state any requirements for what jewel socket it's supposed to be socketed into.

Impossible Escape is technically a jewel with radius. And as everything that refers to radius of the skill tree, it won't work in a cluster jewel socket.
This is because stuff outside of the main skill tree can't be recognized as something within a radius. Albeit Impossible Escape transfers the radius to a keystone, the limitation still doesn't allow it to function. Last edited by MonaHuna#6449 on May 23, 2022, 7:02:46 AM

That might be how it is currently internally implemented, but makes it no less of a bug.

It is intended that Jewels with a Radius do not function when socketed in Cluster Jewels, however this Jewel makes a radius around a specified Keystone. I can't guarantee if we'll change the current behaviour but I'll notify the team about it.

" FYI, Fortress Covenant(a jewel with a radius) not only works when socketed in a cluster jewel, but works better that way. Impossible Escape is a weird new case, but there's definitely precedence for jewels with radius working just fine when there's no reliance on the position of the jewel to benefit from it. |

" I hope this can be changed... it just said "jewel socket" No to conditional challenges on top of RNG pure luck mechanics.
