The infinite hunger is the most bullsh*t boss ever

I'm talking about the mini boss before you fight eater.

First off, I'd like to say, yes, i know that the sludge moves in the direction of the portal. I'm going to look into possibly recording the gameplay.

Essentially the fight starts off normally, no big deal, he goes into the transition phase and the sludge moves in one direction. I follow it for about a screen only to find out it's now moving in the exact opposite direction. How the hell are we supposed to actually tell what direction it's going? So I end up getting like 70 stacks almost immediately.

After dying and entering the other phase instantly, he comes out and then goes invulnerable immediately for about 10 seconds. Guess what? He then respawns the sludge phase.

Again can't tell the direction because it points one way and then is actually going adjacent to the direction i was going, but by then it's too late, I died to adds.

Immediately get back into the map only to have the boss spawn like normal, and him immediately go immune for 10 seconds again followed by sludge phase.

i hate that fight. first time i fought him, i got lost in the sludge and had to ask someone to join to show me how to get out

Shouldn't have to watch a guide on a miniboss that drops nothing of note. The whole fight is a waste of player time. Just sell the invitations.

This is the problem with PoE :

You have to watch guides for everything because everything is a convoluted mess.

The point of a game that is well designed is to teach you, the player, what is not obvious so you can learn. GGG does nothing of that, so players have to rely on guides made by other players.

The problem is :

if the guy that makes the guide is wrong, then everything goes to hell...

The second problem is :

Some knbowledge is sometime kept secret because it gives a trade advantage in leagues.

So what i would like from GGG is an In game wiki that lists everything about PoE (or a web browser that points to an official wiki) where all informations are up to date with no secret shenanigans.

Keep all of you players informed of every change, every patch, no more stealth chnages and no more fiasco like this implementation of archnemesis mods is.
