Mapping is a crazy bullet hell now. This is the opposite of slowing the game down

Every single ritual, harvest, harbinger encounter is basically running around frantically while 10 toxic balls, lightning mirages & magma barrier orbs chase you around. Ritual was a bit of a bullet hell before with volatile orbs but this is so much worse.

Am I playing PoE or Enter the Gungeon? The game has completely lost its identity. Utterly ridiculous.

so much for slowing the game down...
Oh and the ground degens! Its like everything is a platforming puzzle where you have to flame dash from one safe spot to next & the floor is hot lava.

I was not a big fan of degen pools even in pinnacle boss fights but having them all over regular maps is just BS. They do way more damage than previous ground effects like desecrated or burning ground.

Yeah, you're right, it's glorious. Seems like it was years since the last time I said 'ok, just one more map and I'll go to sleep', and it happened last night.

I feel like anything can happen now, maybe snow will fall tomorrow on 30C, or the pope will join denver nuggets as power forward.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

Very clean. The bullet hell design was gradually implemented over the years.



The game is also significantly harder now than back then despite what some people seem to think. Also the game was not balanced around the top 10 meta stuff.

Bad bugs also, like an Eihnhar yellow monster running around that can damage me but I can't damage him. I have no bars over the monster head. It would attack me and then tear off in the other direction. Other monsters leave stuff floating around that never goes away. T16 Blight and deep delves is still broken. :-(
