Killed Searing Exarch Voidstone dropped but no portals left

I killed Searing Exarch on someone else's map device, voidstone but I couldn't pick since it was the last portal, I got the favorite slot, but Kirac doesn't have the Voidstone, did something changed this league on the way to retrieve the voidstone?

Killed it again dropped the stone again, so half solved, but still seems not the intended interaction.
