I'd recommend using the Path of Building community fork's calculations tab for something like this.
The issue isn't that one is giving you increased AoE and the other isn't. The issue is the way that AoE is calculated: things use an integer radius to determine the full AoE, and the bonuses you tend to get modify Area (as in πr2). Your Carcass Jack with 49% increased AoE is getting you to the next breakpoint. The one with 47% increased AoE is not. |

On PoB I do get 21 AoE on both carcasses. And I should get that 21 up until 38% inc AoE on carcass. And if I use even lvl 1 increased AoE support it gets bigger. But inserting carcass in slot or removing it doesnt change anything.

I just find it wierd that i dont see any change on the aoe with that carcass only on bv with quality. Ok it really is a interaction with breakpoint.
Just PoB doesnt help here(( |

" check the calculations, its likely just barely off and being rounded. |

When I opened your character in PoB, and remove the Increased AoE Support, I see that you have 21 radius with Blade Vortex (19/20)
When I hover over that, it shows me 15% reduced for next lower breakpoint, 1% increased for next greater breakpoint. The "until 38% increased on Carcass" appears to be your what you were seeing with the 19/6 Blade Vortex (8% down, 8% up), as opposed to a 19/0 Blade Vortex (5% down, 11% up). |
