Hidden Remove-only stash tab indexing bug [3.17.4c] #3264964047

Stash tabs management is by far one of the most annoying experiences of Path of Exile. I get that it's all due to past choices and I get that it will all magically be fixed in in the TBD future (probably, maybe) of PoE 2. In the mean time, I wish there were some iterations that could be done to improve the current state.

Ignoring the rest of the existing Stash UI related bugs (ex: folders are still an un-usable joke that do not align with their introduction announcement features), I just want to sort my tabs in preparation for the next time I play a league so they're in some sane order based on my current stash-storing logic.

With a large number of tabs, hiding remove-only stash tabs causes clicking into a tab to skip the drop-down to a bad indexing position. This sounds like whatever hash is being used to maintain the tab index isn't taking into account REMOVE_TAB_HIDDEN_STATE=TRUE.

Note that I do have a very large number of tabs.

Symptom: If I have hide-remove-only tabs set and click into a tab OR if I am dragging a tab to a new position, it (consistently) jumps to a tab further down than where the tab is that I clicked into.

Before: In this image, I'll click into "heist-01".


After: I've clicked into heist-01 and now the index position on the right is somewhere deep down in the index.


With remove-only tabs un-hidden, you can see why this is happening: the jump position is referencing the index count as if the tabs aren't hidden.

it would really be appreciated if ggg could reduce my stash tabs by offering a conversion from premium to quads.

and i really hope that relieves the nightmares of having alot of tabs
