Controller support not working with steam link

Controllers connected to a steam link do not register when loading up PoE. Manually clicking from mouse and keyboard only gives prompt that there are no controllers connected. Have tried a Xbox 360 controller that is connected via dongle and have also tried am Xbox one controller connected via Bluetooth and neither show up as an option. Would love to be able to play on my couch with my TV for the new league.


**Edit** Hey there, I got it working. I tried a few different things and finally got it working. When I tried playing on Steam Link a few years ago, I put a controller format on. This was causing problems it seems. I went and got rid of it by putting on regular gamepad format and that seemed to let the game recognize that I was using a controller and everything worked. I hope this helps someone else.
