Bug Reports (Path of Exile 1) - Crashing Upon Entering Act 2 Forest Encampment - Forum

Since the update, I seem to be having an issue entering the Forest Encampment in Act 2. I went there with a level 64 character to purchase a levelled gem. The game locked on the forest encampment load screen. I tried restarting the client and got the same result. I tried rebooting the computer and same again. I then tried entering the forest encampment with another character and encountered the same thing. I now have no access to either of these characters in Archnemesis because they attempt to load in act 2 when launching them, which locks up my game. Thanks for the follow through. I was not using any of those effects, so I simply tried to play the affected character again... with success. Not sure if the steps you delineated would have helped, but my problem seems to have been resolved. Very impressive tech support to respond to this so promptly. Just another reason I've stuck with Path of Exile since open beta. And it just keeps getting better. Well done, you (plural). Dracoliat, you are with GGG, right? Hi, After the hotfix i have not been able to progress trough campaing with new character. Last night i couldn't enter northern forest in act 2 and today im facing the same problem in entering crematorium in act 3. Game starts loading new area but it disconnects after loading a while. I've tried to enter with Ctrl + click for a new instance but that didn't help. It get frusterating after a few attempts so could you please look into this.
