T4 Aisling

I have not done any Aisling slam before.
Sorry if this is a basic question, but what does the non-signature veiled modifiers mean (extracted from wiki)?

I have an item with 2 prefix I want to keep (item has 1 empty prefix and suffix).
I bench-craft "prefix cannot be changed", and do T4 Aisling, it will

- first remove 1 suffix
- offer veil mods for prefix and suffix.

Is this understanding correct?

Note: Only non-signature veiled modifiers can be added this way.

non signature means only the crafting options that are not unique to a specific betrayal character.

example: you wont be offered Elerons mana options on rings


the 3 veiled options will always be either 3 prefixes OR 3 suffixes. you will not get a mix, even if the item has room for both.

I understand what non-signature means now.
I suppose this is also the reason why some veiled mods on craftofexile has weight of N/A. So these are the signature-mods.

So the SET of 3 prefixes OR suffixes can also be useful in the sense that, the empty prefix will be intact.

Sometimes you have Eleron veiled mod, when you unveil the mod with Jun, Jun sometimes offer none of the Eleron unveiled mod, just offer generic ring unveiled mod

Thanks for pointing it out. But this weightage is only relevant at this single instance of veiling, and it is irrelevant (hence N/A) to further crafting because players can never get this mod afterwards.

Also, you will probably want to lock the prefixes or the suffixes (craft "Prefixes/Suffixes cannot be changed"), to save one or more good mods from being replaced by veiled mod.
