Strength phys conversion

Hi,

Do you know any crazy way to convert strength (increase melee phys damage) to melee fire damage?

I want to use it to apply to brutus lead sprinkler added fire damage.

I was thinking maybe iron will support and increases to spell damage apply to attack damage.
Thanks.

Pretty much yeah, this is what you need to do.

I'd go with Iron Will keystone on the passive tree + Crown of Eyes. Then your strength bonus applies to all attack damage. (note: despite appearing to do so, you don't get the crow of eye's 150% boost to attack damage. That can only come from regular spell damage bonuses, not iron will'd strength)

EDIT: Seems I was wrong about that!

Ah thanks for that, that makes most sense and saves a support gem!

Cheers.

What does that mean exactly ??? This is the first time I read this.

What's the point then to use Crown of Eyes if the 150% mod doesn't apply to STR-based increased spell damage from Iron Will ? I really don't get it.
When you use Iron Will with Crown of Eyes, Crown essentially causes each 5 STR to increase Melee Phys by 1.5% instead of the original 1% (or .3% per 1 STR instead of .2%, however you wish to look at it). The values do not stack--instead the higher value wins in the end, since Crown applies its bonus to all attack damage. There used to be no interaction at all with STR melee damage increase, because legacy versions of Crown only increased at 100% of value instead of 150%.

Edit: Also, some of the wiki info on Repentance is outdated, due to changes to Crown of Eyes values. This is likely what still leads some to believe Iron Will and Crown don't interact meaningfully with regard to the bonus.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

So in OP's situation, dealing Fire melee damage, you do get 150% of your base STR bonus (to physical melee damage) for any type of attack damage when combining Iron Will and Crown of Eyes.

Note that you can further increase this bonus with the Iron Fortress body armor, scaling up to 4.5% increased attack damage for each 10 STR.
