Greater Spell Echo and Brand skills

Anyone knows how Great Spell Echo interacts with brand skills?
The 2nd and 3rd cast of Brand get 30% and 60% more damage for the remaining of the duration? What happens when I re-cast brand again? The new ones over-write the old ones right? What happens when I can cast two brands at a time? Do those two benefit from 30% more damage or just one of them? Repeats don't interact with brand this way.
Casts of brand skills don't deal damage, they create brands. Then brands activate and deal damage. Repeat is a cast based mechanic, you cast a skill once but animations and effects occur more than once. So with Greater Spell Echo you'll create 3 brands but "per Repeat" stats won't apply. Cuz brands activations are entirely separate actions from your casts. |
