reduced trap duration from set and forget cluster notable

how does the "25% reduced trap duration" trap medium cluster notable from "set and forget" work exactly?

does it reduce the time until the trap is being triggered after its been thrown/placed - hence ur traps trigger faster?

or does it work differently?

Far as I know (which is in part based on the wiki https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Trap ) trap duration does not effect arming time. So it only triggers faster if it triggers due to the trap duration ending. If it triggers before that due to being triggered by a monster it wont make a difference.
