Gifting Items to a Streamer

Hello,
i heard that it is vorbidden to gift items to a stream is that true ? A friend of mine streams and i wanted to help him out since i progressed a lot and got some spare things but he said he cannot take it cuz it is vorbidden to accept items onstream ? is that true ? gifting items ingame is allowed, people who quit a league often do giveaways to people but they can backup their claims of receiving no real money for it since people who receive the items are random players.
if you give one specific player some really precious items or alot of ingame currency, you certainly trigger ggg's anti-rmt sensors and your account will be investigated. it's best to keep some ingame conversation in screenshots or you temporarily join his guild since people in guilds always share items without any suspicion. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

isn't it the other way around?
streamers shouldn't gift items because that could be considered a form of RMT(gifts for follows/subscribers/etc...) I know that is why empy lists things like magebloods for 77 armor scraps on trade and just gets the first ones to PM him(viewer or not) |

" A streamer is NOT allowed to do "gifts" for "only followers / subs". This is seen as RMT. He is allowed to do it for everyone but he is not allowed to use any rules that favors his followers / subs. I assume empy does the "trade thingy" to make double sure it's not seen as RMT even though that price is clearly "wrong"..... |
