(Resolved) Game not saving Login Credentials

I play PoE on my laptop and on my main pc. Few days ago suddenly game would upon login throw this
"Login Error. Your saved credentials are out of date. Please re-enter your password." However even upon entering it, checking save login details, game continue to request it, even though for the past few days I only play on my PC, and even if I login, then logout, game still asks me this. I tried ticking the "save login details" box on and off, running PoE client as admin, and even deleted the "production_login.credentials", and game just refused to recreate it, so I would have only blank password space. " either a PoE file have been set to "read only" or you have lost your "privaliages" to that file. Try starting the game as "an administrator" and see if that helps. | |

did you check the time/clock of your operating system and if it's set to sync with a timeserver?

" Thanks for the suggestions, as said I tried running PoE client as administrator. I checked file privileges, and attributes, all looks good.  In fact, even if I delete the file, PoE client doesn't recreate it. " Yes I have, thanks for suggestion. I even just reinstalled the whole game, and removed PoE folder from documents. just write support@grindinggear.com if it keeps happening. once you sucessfully athenticate, it shoud save the credentials for the next login.
if it also happens if you start the game as admin, it can't be a problem with missing folder write access or similar. maybe it's worth checking the game's logfile for any difficulties while logging in. logfile name is client.txt and it's in c:/users/yourname/documents/ my games/pathofexile/logs age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! " Fixed it. This was causing the issue.  For whatever reason it changes My Games subfolder in My Documents to Read-Only, and it doesn't apply any changes when I remove that attribute.
