How do I read a build in POB?
This question has been asked before, but the single answer there (in 2017) does not make sense. Maybe the web page changed.
I am totally stumped by this POB. I just see a sea of text when I want to see a build and follow its link, and have no idea what to do with this sea of text popping up. It is the most complicated build system I have ever seen, or I am probably just to obtuse to understand it. :( I'd be very grateful for a very plain, simple, clear answer. In POB, you click on the "Import/Export Build" button, and it will display some options for importing a build. The top part of the screen is for importing from a public profile on pathofexile.com, but the bottom part allows you to import from a code:
![]() If you have just a code, then you can paste the entire code into the "enter the code here" textbox. If you have a link to pastebin, then click the "Import for website..." button and paste the URL (not the code, but the 'http://' link) there. - here's my sig Last edited by AcrylicHercules#1220 on Apr 4, 2022, 6:36:03 PM

Thanks a bunch for your response. My problem starts at the very basics though. Where do I get this code? No need to reply though. I've stopped playing the game now. Most things in the game are just too complicated for me, too much of some things, too many of others, and too small inventory, the oldest and most popular gripe of players. :)

" Builds usually have links to sites that host the exported code, such as pastebin. To import those builds into your Path of Building, you can simply click "Import from website..." and paste the URL there. Afterwards, Path of Building will check whether that code that was loaded from that URL is valid and you can import it by clicking "Import". If the link is part of a video description on youtube, make sure to actually copy the text or the URL in a new tab because youtube transforms the hyperlink into its own link (presumably for the purpose of gathering statistics). |
