Forbidden Flesh not working

Im using occultist currently allocated Malediction, Profone Bloom, Withering Presence and Void Beacone. Nothing happen when I put the Forbidden Flesh jewel which allocates "Forbidden Power".
Is that I understand it incorrectly or is that a bug? Please let me know. Thanks.

Forbidden Flesh will allocate an ascendency IF you have a Forbidden Flame also socketed, and IF the Forbidden Flame has a modifier that allocates the same ascendency.

Socketing just Forbidden Flesh does nothing.

Socketing a Forbidden Flesh and a Forbidden Flame which mention different passives also does nothing.

Explain what? I think Jadien already explained it quite well. To get the FORBIDDEN Ascendency from the Jewels, you need the same version of forbidden flesh and forbidden flame BOTH socketed in your skill tree.

One jewel can drop from Eater of Worlds and the other one from the Exarch Pinnacle Boss. Each unique jewel can roll any ascendency passive node and you need to find both matching versions to get it working.
