how does the new atlas tree work in party play

so I cannot find anything regarding the new atlas tree and how it works in a party I play with a friend and most of the time he is the one who pops the map and I'm wondering if any of the passives I take have an effect while in his maps or does it only do anything for the maps I run

the only passives that apply are the owners. if your friend is opening the map, your passives have NO effect in that map.

dang... i was hoping that maybe at the least the shrine ones would work that only affect me anyway thanks
