Oil extractors

Did GGG stealth nerf this things ? I used to get 50-50 chances for golden/ silvers now it seems I only get the lesser ones...Is this RNG or stealth nerf ?

I always get surprised about the drop rates people "are used to" before asking "if stealth nerfed". I seriously have to be the most unlucky guy in the world if people are actually used to the rates they are sharing.

today 65 tries pulled only 2 golden oils.

Recipe Golden + Golden + Teal pulls teal.
Recipe Golden + Silver pulls Silver.

I am not saying I was always lucky but I used to get like 10 goldens from 65-70 tries, now I barely get 2...

I don't know , I am asking cuz I see nothing in path notes.

I ran a quick test few minutes ago, with whatever I had in stash:


Got a Golden Oil out of 3 rings and one amulet. For this sample size, I'd say I got the "normal" result.

Ran another test, this time with 8 rings, all of them anointed with Gold+X.

Got 5 golden oils, out of 8 rings, here's the video:

For rings, looks 50-50 to me.

How do you get oil extractors? I have the passive but none drop - not a single one. But I get plenty of the anointed Jewelry since allocating the passive. So the passive works. (And my filter shouldnt be the issue either.) Is there something I am missing?

I had the same issue initially, it's just RNG.

Sometimes you don't get any in over 10 maps in a row, sometimes you get 2-3 in same map. The description is a bit misleading, they seem to drop only from the crates that contain blight oils in maps. I did not find any in blight maps.

That's because the special areas are not affected by the atlas tree.

This includes blighted maps / simulacrums and so on...

The only point affecting blighted maps is the specific point on the tree that states 25% effect of blighted maps.

And yes oil extractors drop from oil crates, they don't drop from mobs it's written on the point itself "blighted chests have a 10% chance to contain an oil extractor"

Thats what I thought at first too. But then I looked it up and the term "blight chest" seems to otherwise be used for all types of chests not only oil chests. And the odds didnt add up. Anyway the Atlas passive description is wrong here it seems.

I'd be surprised if the weighting was anything other than 1/3 for each of the used oils.
