Settings do not save after session

Hello!
I began experiencing this issue starting this league (3.17). Every time I attempt to modify my settings, such as adjusting the sound volumes or loading an item filter, the changes do not save after I close the game. The next session of POE will always result in the settings reverting to their former state. The peculiar thing is the settings are still customized from the past. I have attempted to research solutions and so far I have tried: verifying file integrity, reinstalling the game, allowing POE through Windows Defender, and giving the game and its files all security permissions through properties. " 3 things can do this --> 1. Windows Security system preventing write access to files, so try starting the game as "an administrator". 2. Incorrect file "rights" / "file set to read only" so check your file settings for the PoE config file --> C:\Users\"windows account name"\Documents\My Games\Path of Exile\production_Config.ini 3. The file being corrupted, so close the game then delete the file and start the game again. |

I have done all of the following in order. However, after I deleted the production_Config.ini, the file no longer exists and the default file did not regenerate.
Any solutions? |
