A Trolls Best Friend (Gravebinds)

something needs to be done with these gloves,.

People are abusing them and wearing full - quant and - rarity gear and joining MF groups and destroying their drops,. (Anti Magic Find Bots)

This was obviously not intended and is a problem that people are abusing going in and trolling other player's through the game,.

Remove these gloves from game

Well....... You see.... This is not a new problem the gravebinds are just making it much more apparent. I'm someone who's built a TON of rarefind/quantfind builds over the years in PoE and once a very long time ago Culling Strike was not so widely available so you could pretty easily run a rarefind build and always get the last hit but as time went on it became available on almost every class and began showing up on lots of unique items that were popular here and there.

The gloves are a godsend of sorts because what they actually allow in truth(if they are indeed affecting quant/rarity i have not tested this) is for a culler to cull without having to frantically try to get the culling strike before 5 other people.

It certainly something that could be abused in public party's but i would wager not all of these people are "trolling" though i would not doubt there are some possibly even using Voidhome or some other dumb items to really nuke drops into the ground(combustibles :D) and some other stuffs.

I don't think the solution is to remove them however i think its simply to make a private party or a guild/group with friends.

However GGG could take a step forward and reinvent/reimagine culling strike and or item/rarity/quantity mechanics to stop it from voiding your build entirely.

but good luck i've been cryin my heart out for item rarity to see some love for a long long time.

They need to rework / reword it,. if your a culler why the hell would you use these you would just use 50% iir gloves or sadima's other wise your not making the most of being a culler,.

Idk what u said to motte but i dont thik they mean you any harm :P

So like i said the only reason you would use the gravebinds as a culler is because for example the dps in your party is so high that they literally evaporate everything before you can hit the monsters for example.

Even if your dps is just as much or higher it wont matter if you can never hit the monster right?

I've tried just about everything to make this process as painless as possible and its always very painful when in a good group unless you're ok with gimping your dps a bit to get the extra culling strikes or your culler is literally your dps which i dont mind doing if i have aura/curse supports to back me up.

You don't need to wear gravebinds to make culling good... Not sure what groups you've played in but we have never had problems with getting the last hit on the culler and maxing out IIQ and IIR,. Without Gravebinds + before they where introduced,.

After the first week's I just play Carry mf with aurabot + curser,. We don't need cull or gravebinds,. We join public to increase the quant and share exp as it's nearly 2bill Exp per hour

So when people suggest don't go into public,. LOL , they just shouldn't comment as they have no idea

Well im not doubting you lol but i think your only real concrete solution here is to recruit some new players because there are plenty of those looking for groups to help them learn the game and especially do farming with :)

The gloves and Culling strike as well as item rarity/quantity all need an overhaul though that's for sure.

A party setting so only the host can use culling strike? wouldnt stop someone with xyz million dps from one shotting even if it fixed the gloves as well and i dont see GGG adding anything beyond Southbounds in terms of not being able to kill stuff intentionally.

The only solution i have come up with is making every link their gloves or if they have a private profile = insta kick,.

They just need to be removed or altered so if they are meant for minion builds make it this way or allow us to report and have the troll's banned

Well im not gonna argue lol but i really hope if GGG does affect a solution to this issue that it does not include removing them from the game :x
