Doppelganger Guise: Zealot's Oath breaks Regen-when-hit-while-sane

Repro steps:

1) Allocate Zealot's Oath
2) Equip Doppelganger Guise, do NOT activate Unhinge (need to be "Sane")
3) (optional) For clearer results: have no other sources of regen and lose a little bit of tap (e.g. use Lifetap and spend some life) so you won't be at full life.
4) Go get hit by monsters until you see the Buff


Expectation: ES Regen
Result: No regen at all from Doppelganger Guise. NEITHER Life Regen nor ES regen.

The mod reads: "Regenerate 10% Life over one second when Hit while Sane"
so it should work with Zealot's Oath: "Life Regeneration is applied to Energy Shield instead"

How are you triggering the regen?
Seems to work for me, I can't tell your full setup since your account is private

Do you have something like CI or very low hp?
When I tested it seems like ofc the es regen is based off of how much life I have, so I had like 2k like so 200 ES was recovered (and this was before recharge began)
Maybe you have other keystones affecting it?
Mechanic Misconception:

Are your minions "randomly dying"? Do you have the Fleshcrafter unique equipped?
If you answered "Yes" to both of these, high chance is that your minions have over 50% chaos resistance, converting 100% of their HP into ES, killing them.
Not CI, hp is around 2k, but I get no regen.
Without Zealot's Oath, I get hp regen normally. but with it there is no regen on either life or ES.

That would further hint to a bug with Zealot's Oath,as it is supposed to make the % regen based on ES rather than life, as it does with any other source.
