Amanamu's Gaze in Darkness Enthroned - Any point?

Does anyone know for sure if Amanamu's Gaze benefits from the 75% increased effect in Darkness Enthroned Stygian Vise? In PoB, socketing it in the belt doesn't improve it, at least not when it's maxed with 5 Ghastly Eye Jewels (4 + itself). Is there a cap to the benefit, or maybe it just doesn't work, or maybe PoB isn't accurate?

I'm thinking the "up to 30% maximum" is a hard cap that it can't exceed with Darkness Enthroned? There's nothing in the character sheet showing a change (under the misc tab for my spiders there is a minion damage modifier, but it doesn't change when I take Amanamu in or out of any jewel socket).

No complaining if it doesn't work. I just don't want to leave any DPS on the table by not socketing it if it does work.

I should note that the attribute mod IS affected by Darkness Enthroned as expected (tested). I'm asking about the +5-30 damage over time multiplier specifically.

OK that's kind of what I suspected (cap remaining 30%). Conveniently going to 10% to cap at 3, means I'll have the room for forbidden jewels. Thanks for letting me know!
