6 slot armor without mods

I was lucky because monster dropped me 6 slot armor, however what's strange is that the armor has no mods at all, is this normal?

I guess I have to add mods myself, do you have any suggestions?

No, you don't add modifiers to a unique item.

What you have dropped is a Tabula Rasa. It's a natural 6 link, all with white socket. This means that your lv2 character can equip an armour that will allow them to use a 6L skill - which is something that you can achieve, if you are VERY lucky, if you are at least level 60 (the level when 6S naturally drop).

And, when you don't need it any more, you can vendor it for a Divine Orb.

You got lucky, Exile. Pretty lucky.
That is indeed exactly how that armor is supposed to be.

You are off by 10 levels. 6-socket items can drop from item level 50 and up, not counting strongboxes with extra sockets.

That said, even by level 60 you would not be particularly likely to have encountered a 6-linked item anytime soon. The best chance would be corrupted items becoming fully linked, but even that is not all that common.

If I understand, white socket means it can equip gems that are 4 levels beyond what I could use otherwise?

Is there wiki entry for white sockets?

Level 60 huh, my character is on level 34 when this armor was dropped, cool.

No, white socket means you can put gems of any color in them. Basically you have no mods as a tradeoff because a Level 1 character can wear that armour.
OK thanks for clearning up, one more question:

Item level is 27, does that have any siginificance?

It does not for anything you are concerned with at the moment.

Later on, you can use vaal orbs on items which corrupts them (do not do this with your current Tabula Rasa!) and has a chance of adding an implicit modifier to the item. This also has a chance of turning the item into a rare item of the same base type, which would effectively make it useless. You should not attempt to do this until you have the leeway to just get a replacement.

Anyway, the available implicit modifiers depend on the item level.

On rare items, the item level also determines what explicit modifiers are available.
Thank you, I'm reading wiki now to get detailed grasp of item levels and mods.
