Crafting advise shaper shield

New to crafting and looking for some advise.
I got lucky with some Pristine Fossils on this shaper shield and hit all 3 mods I wanted (life on block, +1 Lightning, Reservation efficiency)!
Sadly though I also hit a T10 life, so I cant bench craft a better life roll...
I was wondering if there is a good way to get rid of the life?
I thought about beast pref to suff but I also don't have an open suffix, so do I just have to annul and pray?
If that's the case I'd probably rather use it the way it is

yea that shield is so good that i would just keep it as is.

use it, buy a new base, and attempt to craft one *better*, is my suggestion.

I thought maybe I was missing something but I am just going to use it like this.
