Cast when Damage Taken + Divine Blessing + aura = ?
Can anyone confirm whether Divine Blessing Support is supposed to enable an aura to be triggered by Cast when Damage Taken Support?
I know that Cast when Damage Taken Support explicitly has a non-support clause for skills with reservations. " However, when Divine Blessing Support is added to an aura skill (e.g., Pride), the aura skill now appears as having a mana cost instead of a reservation. Below is part of the description on the Divine Blessing Support gem. " Shouldn't Divine Blessing Support make the skill compatible with Cast when Damage Taken Support? Why not just test it yourself? Should take all of a few seconds?

From what I have read, auras supported by Divine Blessing can currently not be triggered, but I am unaware of whether or not this is intended.

Thanks for the suggestion, TemjinGold. I did try this out and got the unexpected result, which is that the aura spell was not being triggered. Since this is different from what I was expecting, I am trying to understand why.
DER_PSYCHOPATH, I appreciate the anecdotal corroboration. I think I'll try cross-posting this to the Bug Reports forum to see whether the support team can further explain the behavior. Last edited by mathdotrandom#4360 on Feb 23, 2022, 6:03:29 AM
