Chaos orbs not dropping anymore?

From act 1 till 10 i found 2 chaos, now in maps, and played now approx 20 maps t1 till t3; and not one dropped anymore.
Only some small currency drop so now and then.
Previous league I found even more...(and that was already low drop rate compared by older leagues).
Zero exalted dropped (with 2 chars till maps!)
I can only get some chaos by recipe; and a few by trading; but it is very very low.
How to proceed further?

Are you rolling your maps or running them white?

I can only make them magic, because I have almost no alch. (7 total dropped)
And the problem is, that I can't afford good gear, because lack of currency; and therefor are unique maps from t3 already too dangerous.

But then they don't have the right colors, and also chromatic orbs drop very rarely. For crafting I miss also the right currency.
I use neversink regular item filter.
I do most of the league content, but get mostly items worth less than 1 chaos. Trying to sell things that are 2 or 3 chaos worth. Found 1 item that was worth app. 10 chaos (according to awakened poe).

So, maybe I have really very bad luck this league?

You roll with alchemy orbs, not jewelers. If you have orbs of binding, those work too. If you are running the maps blue, that's why your drops are horrible, has nothing to do with your luck.

Excuse me, I wrote jewelers, I mean of course alch; and i got 7 alch total.

do you even interact with league mechanics? Those guys drop so much stuff. Do you pick up and vendor some items? uniques and some rares award alchemy shards, so easy to sustain.. do you do atlas missions and other map encounters?

Ive played in all the leagues, every time I do the acts without trading. And every new league I end up with more currency then in previous..

you must be doing something wrong..

and your gear, what does it mean? Do you compete in some "worst gear possible" competition? It would be very hard to replace some of your rare items with worse ones. Especially your wand, thats the true winner.

My gear sucks, that is true...

Thank you all for some advice; I do the league mechanics; but maybe I sell a way too much unidentified for the chaos recipe (get 2 chaos for set unidentified).
(I know the vendor recipe systems)


I will have a better look what drops from archnemesis and so on.

Still the question: is 2 chaos dropped total tfrom act 1 till t3 maps normal, or bad luck?
