AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR)
Hi. I'm one of the players that is probably gonna stop playing because of performance. I have like 15 fps in jucied maps with harbs, abbys etc, however, the games makes me to need do it that way. It's unplayable. I have 50 fps in hideout. Many players suffer coz of the fact that almost every patch can reduce their fps from 100 to 60 or even 20. If u cant repair it (instead of not replying to posts) u can just listen to many ppl begging you to indroduce the AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR). TLDR:
AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution (FSR) is our open source, high-quality solution for producing high resolution frames from lower resolution inputs. It uses a collection of cutting-edge algorithms with a particular emphasis on creating high-quality edges, giving large performance improvements compared to rendering at native resolution directly. FSR enables “practical performance” for costly render operations, such as hardware ray tracing. Supports: DirectX®12. DirectX®11. Vulkan®. In many games it increases FPS from 40-50 to 110. We need it. Please. It is said it can only take few hours up to few days to implement it. Last bumped on Apr 11, 2023, 1:49:43 PM

This really seems like a common sense, free, open-source, and easy implementation for a big QoL improvement for much of the PoE player base...
Kinda sad to see zero response from GGG on it. |

they implemented FSR 2.0 to EVE ONLINE, totally unnecessary. but as the dev put it
here ". shaving few watts off my power consumption while doing something non-productive such as "gAmInG" is a win already in my eyes Last edited by internet_TOUGH_GUY_123456#0312 on Jun 3, 2022, 7:58:11 PM

" I want it too! thanks for adding FSR! |

I'm using FSR in POE with a hack from Proton-GE on Linux.
Up-scaling to 4k looks and performs better than 1440p. It would look even better if it was natively implemented. AMD FSR works on almost all GPUs and much easier to implement than DLSS. Adding FSR is a no-brainer... |

GGG, care to talk to us about it? Maybe something for POE2?

I hope they consider it for POE 2
