Fertile Catalyst on unik items dont sems to work

I have these two items that do not seem to be able to use Fertile Catalyst. I have spent 10 on the ring and 5 on the Amulet without i can see a change on stats.



Is it because Fertile Catalyst does not support these forms of life mods? Or am I doing something wrong?

hold ALT and youll see which stats are boosted by catalysts.

kaoms way has baseline .4% life regen. increasing this by 10% makes the value .44%, which is NOT high enough to round up to 5%. more catalysts will increase this mod value.

same with the 4 life gain on hit. 4.4 is not high enough to round up.

Xophs, you only have 5% on. 10% max life becomes 10.5%, again, NOT high enough to round up. if you had 20% on xophs, this would be 12% max life. this is the ONLY mod that would be affected by fertile catalysts.

5% of 10 is .5 and I believe PoE always rounds down so until you hit 10% on the catalysts the life wont show an increase on the amulet.

If my math is correct the ring will never show an increase because of rounding but someone can double check me on that.

I now understand that the ring never reaches more than 0.48 and 4.8 increase and therefore does not give a final better result unlike the amulet.
