Can we talk about how Kirac missions are rolled?

This is a T5 by the way.

I'm not currently playing HC but I took a RF Inquisitor to lvl 90 in HC at the end of Scourge and I would have nopped this map AND pretty much every Kirac mission as they are commonly rolled like this or worse. This in turn means I wouldn't be able to renew the maps he sells without using a Scouting report which would seriously hamper map progression.

I can only imagine the poor new player getting to maps and taking these missions and getting slaughtered, saying F this, and walking away from the game.

If you ever watch HC players they will spend a lot of currency making maps as tame as possible when going for completion and then after that they will typically run them magic with only two mods that are unlikely to kill them.

I definitely nopped some Zana missions in the previous setup, but I feel like it was rarer because the mods weren't typically quite so unforgiving until you started getting high tier corrupted maps.

Recommendation - include at least one blue two mod mission in the pool of Kirac missions.

I disagree. While this may be more relevant for guardian maps later on you will have accumulated enough currency, maps, kirac missions & scouting reports to both reroll and run your own maps as blue if necessary.

HC is indeed harder and it should remain so, and not be balanced around being a new player to the game.

Diluting the Kirac map pool with magic maps will just make the missions less rewarding.

What bothers me even more is the red maps he offers aren't corrupted, so basically useless for progression.

Yea, I wasn't aware of that when I posted XD I'm scrubcore :P

But I do agree with op, this game is very over tuned on the low end. Ladder dudes do millions of dps but I struggle to copy any of those builds and approach 6 digits. every set should have at least one weak rolled with a notable weight towards maps you haven't done. at least below like lvl 70. Which is the cut off for a lot of gear.

Sidenote the absurd level req for gear is just grief when some players can get to level 90 on day one and apparently that's not a problem. the ladder is pretty much established in the first week, and any buffs to the lower end would just provide a small jump start to the people who were gonna win anyway, but you'd also open the door to fun for a lot more builds and make a lot more stuff league start worthy. The whole league start build so you can fund your real build shouldn't be a thing.
