Multiple burning ground effects stacking their DPS
|
bug ref. 1,086,759,976
Went in with "exarch mobs drop burning ground on death". Well, let's just say I nearly killed myself. Unlike regular burning ground effects that deal damage that can be mitigated, I was taking approx 4k damage per second walking through a dead pack. Actually, it had be more than that. 75% fire res, of course. Why would they ever stack and overlap? This can't be right. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris. Last edited by Ydoum#5726 on Feb 17, 2022, 5:55:08 PM Last bumped on Feb 24, 2022, 3:16:56 AM

I dont think they stack I think they are just doing that much damage.
I agree it should be toned down. Or outright eliminated. On death effects are lazy design to try and kill players in my humble opinion. Last edited by gladiatorpie#3317 on Feb 23, 2022, 6:56:40 PM

" It honestly felt like they overlapped their damage. I managed to isolate one of the mobs and the burning ground it dropped was manageable. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

I noticed this as well.
As an aside, use the one pantheon for burning ground in the meantime to avoid it if you can. So far, the Universe is winning."

" Unfortunately that's out of the question for me. I'll just have to avoid that altar mod. Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.
