Every map mod added this league are overtuned (Map mods need a revamp)

Compared to the rewards they adding, new map mods are just dumb. People was rarely even using vaal orb to maps nowadays, now it's worse. I mean we know it's purpose is to be a currency sinker, chaos orb to be specific but isn't it backfiring however you look at (current c to ex rate is 130)? My suggestion would be to revert the changes and find another solution for currency sinker or just revamp map mods completely, it's been old enough with bs mods and now you made it worse that I just found them annoying. EG below:

+ Monsters gain (40–49)% of Maximum Life as Extra Maximum Energy Shield
13% iq for effectively 50% more monster life, and whats worse? This 50% part is regenable in a way quicker speed than normal ehp. Good luck dying to boss in map with this mod, or worse consecrated ground mod combo.

+ Unique Bosses are Possessed
16% iq for this while player base has been screaming for torment's removement lol.

+ Monsters have +60% chance to Suppress Spell Damage
13% iq for 30% less damage for spells. Self-cast buffed league btw.

+ Players have 40% less Cooldown Recovery Rate
13% iq for slowing player's primary source of speed, hence they run it white now.

+ Buffs on Players expire 70% faster
Just to make sure boneshatter is surely gone this league.

+ Players have 60% reduced effect of Non-Curse Auras from Skills
This affecting your main defence and damage stats, both in a more fashion so this mod is the top 1 must avoid in my opinion. Completely not worth running it for merely 13% iq

+ Players have 25% less Accuracy Rating
So we heard you still playing attack skills in self-cast buffed league.

+ Areas have patches of Consecrated Ground
Just make sure you not farming guardians with this map mod. Or bring a frost bomb gem because who knows why its a must have in every build now.

All mod's iq info are from poedb site, please correct me if I'm wrong somewhere.

I agree with the first two. Insane power spike for barely any reward. The energy shield regenerates way too fast. At the same time it does nothing to a poison concoction build.

Some of these just seem standard. I mean, it's not a big difference between 30% less spell damage and 40% higher resistances. They amount to the same thing. You do less damage. Thats the nature of map mods. It makes things more difficult.

I do think the ES one should probably be reduced, given the speed which ES regenerates. that one is a bit overtuned. The possession one I don't mind too much. I don't particularly like the torment mechanic, but thats more because I simply find it convoluted how to get the most out of it. I won't be upset if it goes the way of Perandus and Prophecy.

The other mods just seem l like normal map mods to me. Things you have to work around or, if they're really build killers for you (I'm looking at you Reflect Damage and No Regeneation), reroll the mods.

The only mod that actually gives me pause is the one that reduces armor and block chance, at least only for this league since I opted for a tankier build than the glass cannon I'm normally accustomed to. That mod alone makes me feel like I'm rolling a glass cannon again, except without the DPS that comes with it.

I like the possessed mod on bosses, though. Sure some can be annoying, but after this one run-in with Incursion architects all being possessed by the currency ghost because of a T3 torment room, I've learned their real value. I'm pretty sure the reason people hated torment was more the fact they were a huge pain to herd towards rares and uniques. If GGG cuts that part out and just makes the target possessed immediately, that saves a lot of work.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

The map mods and archnemesis mods that severely cripple or brick entire build setups and general sponginess of mobs with a splash of wack regeneration just made me not want to bother.
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.

Sure, but they should also be more rewarding. I don't think anyone disagrees that possessed bosses (including guardians) is bonkers. It is also one of the few random map mods - you have no idea what the ghost is going to be. And despite all this, it barely gives you anything.
