Is this a new bug? Invincible beast

So how this happened was that I was running away from the beast as Einhar was first entering the area so the 2 beasts that were there wouldn't kill me, I thought Einhar had captured the beast that's bugged in the video and he captured the other one, somehow when the beast in question went off-screen I believe Einhar was in the middle of capturing it, but the game didn't let Einhar finish the capturing since I left him off-screen, thus the beast in question became invincible.
