disable level downscaling by default

Please for the love of god disable the default level downscaling. It should be TURNED OFF by default. I've died countless times trying to help friends where I literally get one shot by low level bosses that I killed deathless 50 levels ago with <1/4 my current hp. It makes no sense.
At first I had no idea downscaling was even on. The indicators are there but they're not super obvious especially if you're unaware the setting even exists. Now I understand what happened, and I understand what GGG was trying to do with the downscaling setting... but this is just absurd. I shouldn't have to google why I'm dying for no reason because of some obscure setting that is VERY POORLY implemented. Please turn off level downscaling by default. Or give me the option to disable joining parties where it is enabled and in effect. Because I NEVER want to join a downscaled party again. Thanks. Last bumped on Feb 12, 2022, 6:19:24 AM

This does strike me as something that should be opt-in rather than opt-out. 👍
I find it difficult to justify optional purchases to support a Tencent-owned development studio that declines to provide customers Technical Support, regardless of how many thousands of euros that customer has spent...

much prefer it to be defaulted to on so that i can help noobs with their bosses/other stuff and they get their normal exp :P
